There are tons of books on my TBR that I’ve been avoiding fo different reasons but I can’t seem to part with. Here are some of them!
The synopsis of this book really intrigues me and I’ve heard amazing things. But damn is this book intimidating… This author in general intimidates me. Hence…
This book is so long – especially the copy that I have that is mass-market-esque. I definitely think I need to replace my copy before I actually pick this up. But I will say the synopsis of this doesn’t 100% intrigue me, but they hype around this book has gotten to me. So it sits on my shelf.
This is one my favorite covers of all time – which may be part of the reason I’m still holding onto this (go ahead, judge me). I’ve actually started this once before and I found it quite slow, so I put it down. And haven’t picked it up since…
I’ve had a weird relationship with fantasy lately so I’ve been putting this (and some other hyped fantasies) off. I really want to get to this at some point, but I want pick this up when I’m in the right mood/space to love it.
I really enjoyed book 1 in this series and I 100% believe that I will love the rest of it. But like I said above, I haven’t been on the fantasy train lately. But hopefully I can get back to this soon.
My fiancé really enjoyed this book and he’s been waiting for me to read this. But mythology is not my thing so I’m nervous and worried I’ll be bored and confused.
This is a slow-paced, dystopian novel about a traveling Shakespeare troupe. And while I’ve heard nothing but amazing things… nothing about that peaks my interest. But on my shelf it sits…
I’m pretty sure I’m the only person alive who hasn’t read this book or watched the series. But I haaaated the last Liane Moriarty book I read (The Husband’s Secret) and eventually DNF’d. So I’ve been leery AF about picking this one up.
This is one book that I’m actually REALLY excited to read. But I feel like this will be a new favorite read and for some reason I keep putting it off because of that (anyone else??). I will 100% read it this spooky season!
Like I said earlier, fantasy and I haven’t been on the same page. This is another one I think I’ll love if I ever get back into a fantasy mood.
Have you read any of these? Are there any you think I should prioritize and push up my TBR?
