2019 Yearly Wrap Up & Stats!!

Today is the LAST DAY OF 2019! I love stats and graphs so here’s some fun stats about all the books I read this year ♥

RWRB

Total books: 113

Total Pages read: 34,379

Average rating: 3.6

Rating Breakdown

Ratings

I took this graphic from Goodreads because I thought it was cool to see where all of my books fell. It’s not 200% accurate since Goodreads doesn’t allow for half star ratings but it gives a good idea of how many books fell into each star rating.

This was a really heavy 4 and 3 star year unfortunately. I didn’t discover nearly as many new all time favorites as in years past.

Below is a graph of all my star ratings + DNFs. I had a total of 11 DNFs on top of my 113 completed books this year.

Monthly Breakdown

Apparently spring and fall are my biggest reading months. Who knew.

MonthlyBreakdown

Release Date

I had pretty solid split of new releases and backlist titles, which I’m proud of! I want to keep up with new releases but there are also so many backlist titles I want to get to as well.

Format

This was my first year receiving ARCs so I was curious how many I read in comparison to books I own, audio, KU, etc. I can’t believe I read *40* ARCs this year! I definitely need to prioritize my physical TBR in 2020 though.

Format

Standalone vs Series

I can’t believe I read an even split between standalones and series! Definitely didn’t see that one coming. Although a lot of these are romance standalones that are a part of a series.

Genre Breakdown

No surprise here, romance dominated my reading this year

Genre

Age Range

The majority of the books I read were adult or new adult – which isn’t surprising since most of the books I read were romance or mystery/thriller/horror.
