Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

Sunday was Father’s day (happy Father’s day to any dad’s out there!) so I thought this would be the perfect time to rec one of my favorite (under-appreciated) romance tropes: Single Dads!

1. Eleanor & Grey by Brittainy C. Cherry

This is a second chance romance between childhood friends that reconnect when the Eleanor unknowingly becomes Grey’s new nanny. This book is super emotional and had me crying my eyes out many times over.

2. Irresistible (Cloverleigh Farms #1) by Melanie Harolow

This is another nanny romance! This is the first book in the Cloverleigh Farms series and follows Mack who is the CFO at Frannie’s family farm. It’s an extremely sweet, fluffy romance!

3. Doughn’t Let Me Go (Slice #3) by Teagan Hunter

Another nanny romance! Apparently I have a type 😅 This romance follows a millionaire who moves to a small coastal town with his young daughter for a fresh start. He has a one night stand on his first night there, only to discover she was just hired to be his new nanny.

4. Your Dad Will Do by Katee Robert

Okay VERY different vibe here! This is a smutty AF novella about a woman who sleeps with her ex-fiancé’s father for revenge. I’ve never read anything this dirty in my entire life. Read it.

5. Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas

Another taboo romance! This is about a young women who falls for her ex’s father while living with him. It’s definitely a classic favorite in the romance community.

6. Can’t Text This (Text #3) by Teagan Hunter

This is a laugh out loud funny rom-com about a one-night stand turned complicated when the couple discovers the heroine is his child’s new teacher. It’s the third book in a “series” but these books can 100% be read as standalones!

7. It Takes Two to Tumble (The Sedgwicks #1) by Cat Sebastian

This is a historical M/M romance between a newly single father and the man tasked with helping get his out of control children in line. This book is super short so flipping adorable! Severely underrated historical romance series!

8. The Babysitter by Jake Harbon

This is a suuuuper short M/M romance novella between the family babysitter and newly divorced father. It’s own voices too!

9. The Wrong Kind of Love (The Boys of Jackson Harbor #1) by Lexi Ryan

Okay so apparently I should have just made this the “nanny” list 😅 This is romance between a woman who ends up in Michigan after fleeing her almost wedding. She has a one-night stand only to discover the next day that she is his new nanny. To make things more complicated, everyone thinks she is her twin sister. So much drama!!

10. Down Too Deep (Dirty Deeds #4) by J. Daniels

This is the only book on this list that I haven’t read! But I couldn’t leave this list at just 9 😅 I’ve heard amazing things about this series and book in particular so I’m excited to read this soon!
