I received an ARC copy of this from Sourcebooks Casablanca in exchange for an honest review.

This was definitely my favorite of the series so far! This entire series is a little out there and over the top, but I’ve really enjoyed reading about the quirky town.
I actually liked that this installment spent less time in the town itself and instead explored the wilderness of Alaska. I loved the climbing aspect to this story and thought it made for a really engaging read. I definitely found myself bracing during some of the more intense moments!

I really liked the new characters and was absolutely swooning over Easton. The marmot portions were ridiculously but definitely made me chuckle.
I do wish we got to see more romance between the main characters. Since the focus of this was more of the climbing excursion, we didn’t get to see quite as much of their romantic development as I would have liked. This was definitely a very PG romance.

But overall I had a really good time reading this, and will definitely continue to read more from this author.

I received an ARC copy of this from Berkley Romance in exchange for an honest review.

This was absolutely adorable!! This was my first book by this author and I had no idea what to expect going in, but this romance absolutely swept me off my feet.

This book had one of those settings that you just want to crawl into. Between the adorable small English town, welcoming neighbors, sexy farmer, and quaint bookstore, I want nothing more than to jump into this book.

I loved how this story really focused on Evie’s personal growth. Even as a 30-something, she was still trying to find out what she wanted from life and it was great to see that plot with an older character (because same).

I loved the slow burn of this romance. Despite the immediate connection and obvious attraction, these two developed an amazing friendship. And by the time they finally got together I was ready to burst.

Everything about this was warm, and wonderful, and left my heart ready to burst. I can’t wait to read more from Samantha Young!

Love At First by Kate Clayborn

I received an ARC copy of this from Kensington in exchange for an honest review.

Another favorite romance from Kate Clayborn. After absolutely falling for Love Lettering, I had no idea how this book was going to top that one. But Kate Clayborn blew me away with this soft, heart-warming romance.

Reading this book felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket. I just wanted to sit with the characters forever and listen to their story. Every character found a place into my heart – the found family these characters created was wonderful.

This was a very slow, character driven romance that really focused on the feelings of grief and acceptance. There is a lot of time spent exploring how to love without losing yourself and learning to move on from loss. And all of it was handled with such flawless care.

Also Will might be my new favorite hero of all time. Kate Clayborn shared a lot of snippets and that on social media – one of them being Will’s doorway leaning. And it was just as swoony as she implied. He gave me all the butterflies!

Overal this romance gave me everything I wanted – it was heartfelt, romantic, full of amazing characters (Will’s friendship with his boss? perfection). I devoured this book in less than 2 days because I never wanted to put it down. Definitely a must read for anyone who loves romance!
