Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
This week’s actual Top Ten Tuesday post is about book titles that sound like Crayola colors. I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired by that topic so instead I stole this topic from this past Saturday’s Top Seven Saturday.
I never considered my self a series reader before – but I’m officially a convert.
All of the books on this list (unintentionally) aren’t actually released yet. But luckily all but one release later this year!
1. As Good As Dead (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder #3) by Holly Jackson
This is the conclusion to the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series which is my new favorite mystery series of all time. I’ve given both of the previous books 5 stars and I need this one RIGHT NOW.
2. The Long Game (Game Changers #6) by Rachel Reid
I just read Heated Rivalries and it quickly became a new favorite romance. While there are a bunch of other books in the series, this one will finally be following those characters again! I can’t wait for more of Shane and Ilya
3. A Cruel and Fated Light (A Dark & Hollow Star #2) by Ashely Shuttleworth
A Dark and Hollow Star received some mixed reviews upon release, but I absolutely loved this unique urban fantasy. I cannot wait to pick up the sequel – especially after how book 1 ended.
4. Beautiful Nightmares (Fortuna Sworn #4) by K.J. Sutton
I am fully and wholly addicted to the Fortuna Sworn series. Book 3 was INTENSE and I’ve been itching for this next book since I finished it.
5. Righteous (The Beautiful #3) by Renée Ahdieh
This is another series with mixed reviews but I’m obsessed. I cannot wait for this final book!
6. When Night Breaks (Kingdom of Cards #2) by Janella Angeles
Where Dreams Descend was so nearly a new all time favorite until that confusing AF ending. But that same ending is the reason I’m hyped for this sequel. What is happening?! I need to know!
7. Grace and Glory (The Harbinger #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This is my favorite JLA series and I’ve tried so hard to get my grimy paws on this book. Sadly Inkyard Press keeps denying me 😅
8. Dark Waters (Small Spaces #3) by Katherine Arden
This is my favorite middle grade series! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this next book and it’s finally almost here! This series is creepy, and dark, and so dang good.
9. The Box in the Woods (Truly Devious #4) by Maureen Johnson
I thought this mystery series was over and was over the moon excited when I saw it was getting a spinoff. I can’t wait to see where Maureen Johnson takes these characters next.
10. Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked #2) by Kerri Maniscalco
Okay I put this one on here with some trepidation but I can’t help but be hyped for this sequel (despite book 1 making my most disappointing of the year list..) I really liked where this story was heading in the last half so I’m hoping this next book is everything I wanted from book 1.

It’s definitely a good binge series!! They end on cliffhangers so it’s been torture waiting for this last book 😅
