In 2020 I set myself some specific reading goals/challenges for each month. I want to make sure I’m staying accountable, so at the end of every month, I’m planning on of these check in posts so see if I completed my goals for that month!
It still feels weird to be talking about 2020…
In 2018 the only goal I set was a Goodreads goal of 50 books. And overall I did pretty well with reading diversely in terms of genre. But in 2019 I wanted to set some fun goals and challenges to expand my reading.
One of my goals for 2019 is cut down my TBR shelf – especially books that have been sitting there for a year or more! So I decided to choose 12 books, one for each month, that I’m going to make a priority.
I’m considering making a TBR jar for this and drawing one book a month. However, there may be some months that I’m in the mood for a specific book. So I’m thinking I’ll allow myself 2 options – either draw a random book or select a book I’m in the mood for.
But regardless of how I choose, here are the 12 backlist books I want to prioritize in 2019.
2019 is going to be a big year for me so I wanted to write down and document some goals I”m setting in my personal life. My fiancé and I are getting married in September! So this year is going to be filled with all the wedding things. ♥
Because of that, I really want to focus on both my physical and mental health this year. I’m pretty easily overwhelmed/stressed so want to make sure I’m taking care of myself. Other than that, I just think it’s a good in general idea to have goals you’re working towards.
Most of these are going to read pretty vague. These are all pretty personal so I don’t go into a ton of detail here. But I have smaller, more specific goals written out for myself.
