Paperbacks and Planners

Summer was a weird couple of months reading-wise… I literally one read 1 (1!) five star book. I don’t know if I’ve gotten more critical, or if I’ve just been picking up the wrong books lately. Here’s a couple of my favorites though!

1. The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my only 5 star read of the last 3 months (seriously I don’t even recognize myself). This book is absolutely beautifully written and I can’t recommend this enough. Definitely check out my full review for all of my thoughts!

2. Well Met by Jen DeLuca ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is such a perfect, summer romance. This takes place at a Ren Faire the high school puts on during the summer. It was such an adorable, enemies to lovers romance that I completely devoured.

3. Tunnel of Bones (Cassidy Blake #2) by Victoria Schwab ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I won’t lie, I had completely written of Victoria Schwab’s books before starting this series. And I’m so glad I gave this series a shot! Because it is definitely one of my all time favorite middle grade stories. If you’re looking for something to add to your fall TBR, this is it!! My full review for this sequel is coming shortly!

4. The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t have a review for this because I read this during the “Great Review Blackout of 2019” where I fell into a black hole of not wanting to write reviews. But this book gave me so many feelings. It sweet and romantic but also heartbreaking. I know this is a lot of people’s all time favorite romance, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you haven’t picked it up yet!

5. Lost in Me (Here and Now #1) by Lexi Ryan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Apparently this is another casualty of my review slump. I did share my review on Goodreads though and I linked it above! This is the most over the top, dramatic, love triangle of a story I’ve ever read. And I never wanted it to be over. I can’t remember the last time I binged a series with such fervor.
