Spookathon Wrap Up

Well Spookathon was an absolute bust 😅

✅ 1. Read a Thriller: Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware ⭐⭐⭐

TurnOfTheKey

This thriller was super creepy but a bit of a disappointment considering how high my expectations were for this. My review will be coming soon!

❌ 2. His Hideous Heart by Dahlia Adler

HisHideousHeart

I only made it through 1 story of this, this week. But I’ll be finishing it throughout the month!

3. The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson

SaturdayNightGhostClub

I moved this one to this week because I still really want to read this.

❌ 4. The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay

CabinAtEndOfWorld

Technically I’m 3/4 of the way through this on audio. This book has me so flipping stressed I can only listen to this short bursts. It’s easily the most intense book I’ve ever listened to.

✅ 5. Mooncakes by Wendy Xu and Suzanne Walker ⭐⭐⭐.5

Mooncakes

I read this late Sunday night so that I would have more than a single book finished for the readathon. This was very cute and wholesome!

Hopefully my final readathons go better than this one 😅 How was your reading week??

I’m watching a bunch of vlogs and it seems like we’re not alone! It was just a rough reading week for everyone apparently haha. Hope you enjoyed the book you finished! ❤️

Very nice! I didn’t have success on completing my Spookathon list either – not sure what it was last week LOL Too bad about the Ruth Ware book, I loved that one.

Right? What happened last week? 😂 And yeah I’m definitely the unpopular opinion. Everyone else has given it 4 or 5 stars! It was still a good book, just not my favorite of hers 🤷🏼‍♀️
