In 2020 I set myself some specific reading goals/challenges for each month and I want to make sure I’m staying accountable. Here’s how April went!

This was a month… I have never read so many in a single month. Which means I hit pretty much all of my goals just by default/pure chance 😅
1. Review Every Book ✅
We’re living and thriving y’all! 61 books down and all reviewed.
2. Read 100 Books
Yeah I have blown past the half way point and am well on my way to hit this by July 😅
3. Physical TBR Challenge ✅
Okay so I technically didn’t finish The Secret History… but it was really boring ok? I’ll try and revisit it later (maybe).
4. Read outside my comfort zone ✅
I read a sci-fi (which I did not like) and a graphic novel series! Not bad!
5. Read at least 2 books in an open series ✅
I read a LOT of books in open series this month! I also started a couple new ones but we won’t talk about that 😅
6. Read at least 1 BOTM book ✅

OMG THIS WAS AMAZINGGGGG!
7. Romanceopoly ✅
I read Slave to Sensation for the Spring prompt – which was to read a book with yellow or green on the cover.
This week is also the Romanceopoly Readathon so I’m exclusively reading books for Romanceopoly this week! So far I’ve finished Dirty, Reckless Love for Library (Freebie) if I Never Met You for Lady Lane (Women’s Fiction).
8. April TBR ❌
Okay so I missed this one… Technically I never finished The Secret History because (again) 1, it was boring and 2, I replaced Eight Perfect Murders on my owls TBR so it was no longer a priority. I also just changed my mind about a couple other things I originally put on this list because.. I do that sometimes.
But I killed my OWLs TBR so – you win some, you lose some.
9. Seasonal TBR ✅
I read a ton off of my Spring TBR! Only a few more to go! (I did have to make some minor tweaks since the ARC I was planning on reading got pushed back…)
This was an amazing reading month all around, so I’m not surprised I hit all these goals. Hopefully May is equally as good reading-wise!
How are you doing with your 2020 goals??
