Happy Blogmas day 3!!🎄
I’m so excited to be kicking off the holiday season with a super fun readathon! I’m keeping my TBR small and manageable for this as things can get pretty hectic this time of year. The readathon starts today, December 3rd, and runs through the 9th.
Hosts:
Heather from Bookables
Chelsea from Chelseadolling reads
Kristin from Super Space Chick
Trina from Between Chapters
Amy from A Court of Crowns and Quills
There are reading challenges, photo challenges, and a group book for the readathon so check out their Instagram and Twitter pages! Here are the reading challenges and what I hope to read this week!
1. Read a Book with Red or Green on the Cover
For this I’m finally picking up Matchmaking for Beginners by Maddie Dawson. This is a romance novel I’ve had on Kindle Unlimited for awhile. It’s about a woman who thinks she is the perfect relationship but ends up getting divorced after 2 weeks of marriage. She then finds out she inherited a gorgeous home as well as a matchmaking business.
2. Read a Book While Listening to Holiday Music
I love when readathons include challenges like this. I’m planning to find a yule log/fireplace video with some quiet Christmas music. I can’t read with lyrics going so I’ll definitely be looking for something instrumental.
3. Read a Warm & Fuzzy Book
I’m using Matchmaking for Beginners to fulfill this challenge as well. It seems like the perfect cozy, feel-good book.
4. Read a Short Book
I’m doubling up this challenge with number 6. I want to read as much as I can, but it’s also a crazy busy time of the year, so I’m keeping my expectations manageable.
5. Read a Holiday Themed Book
The group read before fulfills this challenge but if I can fit in a third book this week I’m planning to read another Kindle Unlimited book, The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score. This story sounds like it could be a Hallmark movie and I’m all about it.
6. Read the Group Book
The group book for this Snow in Love by Melissa de la Cruz, Nic Stone, Aimee Friedman, and Kasie West. I’m really excited for this book! I’m so looking forward to a quick, cozy read.
I have a TON of other holiday books – both physically and on my Kindle. So if I finish all of these, I’m planning on picking up some of those.
Are you participating in the readathon? What is on your TBR?
