New Releases

1. Kingsbane (Empirium #2) by Claire Legrand

Okay, I’ll be honest, I still haven’t read book one. But I’m excited about the sequel anyways. This is a YA, epic fantasy about 2 queens thousands of years apart.

2. Birthday by Meredith Russo

Oh look another queer, YA, contemporary on my TBR! I have a type guys haha. This is the vaguest synopsis I’ve ever read. This follows two people who share a birthdate.

3. Keep This to Yourself by Tom Ryan

This is a YA, mystery following a boy trying to move on after a serious killer terrorized his home town. But he receives a cryptic message and mysterious things are happening.

Reading Update + TBR!

Recently Finished

1. Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a YA, fantasy about a young woman who grew up in the Great Library where ancient, magical tomes. The Great Library is attacked and Elisabeth is accused of being responsible. She then has to team up her enemy, a sorcerer to stop the actual attacker.

2. After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Taylor Jenkins Reid can do no wrong. This book was typical Reid – beautifully written, completely engrossing, and hard-hitting. This follows a couple going through marital struggles. They decide to take a year apart to decide if they want to make their marriage work. This book was so beautiful.

3. Undeniable (Cloverleigh Farms #2) by Melanie Harlow ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was lucky enough receive an arc of this from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review. This was a really sweet, quick romance. It definitely wasn’t my favorite however. This was almost TOO quick. Their entire romance, near break up, and reconciliation happens in about 3 days. But I’m still looking forward to checking out the rest of this series!

Currently Reading/What’s Next

1. City of Girls (E-arc/Edelweiss+)

This is what I’m currently reading! I’m like 6% in and I already love it!

2. The Kiss Quotient (Audiobook/Hoopla)

3. The Intermission by Elyssa Friedland (Physical/Library)

4. Praying for Rain by B.B. Easton (Ebook/Kindle Unlimited)

What are your reading plans for the week??
