Here are some readathons happening this week/month if you’re looking for one to participate in!

1. Romanceathon: June 17 – 23

The Romanceathon is a new readathon created and hosted by Gabby from gabbyreads and Jacqueline from We Be Book’N and runs from the 17th – 23rd. There are 7 reading challenges and a group read. Check out their videos or Twitter page for all the details!

New Releases

There are some great releases this week!

1. Something Like Gravity by Amber Smith ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This follows 2 teens after a near fatal car crash. They grow closer as they try to process the accident, Chris coming out as transgender, and the loss of Maia’s sister.

2. The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda

This mystery/thriller follows 2 women who form a friendship in an small vacation town. But when one of them dies, the other doesn’t believe it was a suicide like the police are saying.

3. One Night at the Lake by Bethany Chase

Another mystery! I read Chase’s last book, which was a contemporary romance. This is about a love triangle turned bad. Leah’s boyfriend and best friend admit to their affair and Leah goes missing. Now 7 years later they’re trying to figure out what happened.

1. Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I already talked about this above but serious it was so cute. I stayed up SO late Saturday night because I just couldn’t put this down. I s

Currently Reading

1. Praying for Rain by B.B. Easton

I’m still 20% into this. I haven’t had a chance to pick it back up. I’m loving this so hopefully I can get back into this asap!

2. Hate to Want You by Alisha Rai

I’m listening to this on audiobook for the Buzzword readathon. This is a sexy, forbidden romance. So far I’m about 20% in and really enjoying it. There is a lot of back story, so it’s a book I have to pay more attention to than I’m used to (I listen to a lot of light rom-coms). So I’m moving a little slower than normal through this.

3. Call it What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer

This is another Buzzword readathon read I’m still making my way through. I have an e-arc of this from Netgalley and so far it’s a lot darker than I thought it was going to be. I know Kemmerer is known for her intense, hard-hitting YA contemporary though, so I really shouldn’t be surprised.

What’s Next

My entire readathon TBR is posted here!
