Top Ten Tuesday: 2020 ARCs I’d Kill For

But not literally.

BearAndNightingale

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

1. House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J. Maas

HouseOfEarthAndBlood

I nearly fell over when Becca and The Books showed her ARC of this. What organ(s) do I have to sell to get one?!?

2. The Hand on the Wall (Truly Devious #3) by Maureen Johnson

HandOnTheWall

This releases in just 2 weeks but I’d still do terrible things to get a copy today 😅

3. Wild at Heart (Wild #2) by K.A. Tucker

WildAtHeart

I’m so ready to get my hands on this and jump back into this world! I love these characters so much!

4. My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell

MyDarkVanessa

I requested this ARC everywhere and was promptly ignored 😂 I just want to read it and love it!

5. Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power

BurnOurBodiesDown

I had pretty lukewarm feelings about Wilder Girls but I absolutely loved Rory Power’s writing. This is another one I tried getting a copy of to no avail…

6. In Five Years by Rebecca Serle

InFiveYears

This is another ARC I was denied 🙈 Everyone who has read an early copy seems to absolute love this. I want to know that love too!

7. The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren

HoneyDontList

There’s a definite theme to this list… I was also denied for this one 😅 I love Christina Lauren and this sounds like so much fun!

8. The June Boys by Courtney Stevens

JuneBoys

While we’re on a roll, I’ll throw in one more I was denied 😂 Something about this premise just calls to me. I need it in my life asap.

9. The Life Below (The Final Six #2) by Alexandria Monir

LifeBelow

I actually really want this one on audio! I loved the audiobook for book 1 and just want to be swept away by this story again.

10. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

BalladSongbirdsSnakes

I put this one last because I’m cautiously optimistic but leery about this one. I don’t always love when worlds I love are revisited. But I still want to get my hands on a copy… yesterday (despite the absolutely appalling cover….)

What 2020 releases would love to get your hands on?

I’m dying to read The Hand on the Wall and I’m so happy that we only have to wait for a few days to read it 😂 Gotta reread the first two books now cuz I don’t wanna miss anything.

Great twist on this week’s topic! It can be so frustrating when you don’t get an ARC for a book you’re desperate to love. I need to check Rory Power’s work out this year!

I got an ARC of My Dark Vanessa months ago, so I guess I got lucky! I’m also feeling a little dubious about the new Suzanne Collins book.

Omg I’m so jealous!! And yeah I’m trying to tamper my excitment 😅I’m not always a big fan of finished series being revisited

Right! Prequels in general make me very nervous.

Thank you ❤❤ And yeah I just want to keep my expectations realistic. I dont wanna set the book up for failure by hyping it too much in my head 😅
