2020 Goal Check In: February

In 2020 I set myself some specific reading goals/challenges for each month and I want to make sure I’m staying accountable. Here’s how February has gone so far!

Processed with VSCO with s1 preset

1. Review Every Book ✅

All my reviews are up either on here or Goodreads!! 2 months in a row… killing it!

2. Read 100 Books

I’m at 22 / 100 so still ahead of schedule!

3. Read 2 books off my backlist TBR ✅

GraceYear AllAmericanMuslimGirl

Like last month, I only technically finished one of this because I DNF’d All-American Muslim Girl. But I’m counting this challenge complete because it’s still 2 books off my TBR.

4. Read outside my comfort zone ❌

….. I’m seriously struggling with this challenge ….

5. Read at least 2 books in an open series ✅

Unbreakable QuestionOfHolmes

6. Read at least 1 BOTM book ✅

SunDownMotel

7. Romanceopoly ✅

ArchangelsConsort

Only finished 1 challenge this month. I completed The Vault (PNR on TBR longest).

8. February TBR

So 3 of these I finished, 1 I DNF’d, and 1 I’m currently reading. Not my greatest month but 5/9 isn’t terrible. And technically I have a few days left so I’m hoping to still get to Escaping From Houdini! Also How To Lose the Time War got bumped to March’s TBR!

9. Seasonal TBR

GraceYear SunDownMotel

That is 8 / 10 completed! And I don’t actually think I’m going to be picking up the last 2 anymore 😅 So not bad! This is easily the best I’ve done with a seasonal TBR since starting this site haha.

Another decent month! March is the month I’m going to finally read something outside my comfort zone though! I’m determined.

How are you doing with your 2020 goals??
