These books have been lost to the abyss of my Goodreads TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
My Goodreads TBR is at a somewhat manageable 350 books. I try to clean it up occasionally and remove the plethora of books I’ve lost interest in. But I still lose books on here.
Here are some of the books on my TBR I’ve completely forgotten about for one reason or another. A lot of these are backlist titles that aren’t talked about much. So they’re just been pushed to the back of my TBR.
1. Six Stories by Matt Wesolowski

I heard about this on Books and Lala’s channel and thought it would be a perfect October read. But it’s been buried on my Goodreads TBR and I haven’t thought about it since adding it. It still sounds super intriguing though so maybe I should finally read it this fall!
2. Her Pretty Face by Robyn Harding

I’ve heard amazing things about this author but I completely forgot about this book. I believe this was another Books and Lala recommendation that I need to finally get to. I think I might even have a physical copy somewhere…
3. City of Stairs (The Divine Cities #1) by Robert Jackson Bennett

This is a high fantasy novel I first heard about from Books With Emily Fox. I hear about Foundryside all the time so I totally forgot this author had another series! This has absolutely amazing reviews so definitely need to check this out some day.
4. All These Beautiful Strangers by Elizabeth Klehfoth

I have no idea when or how I heard about this book. I believe it’s a thriller and that’s literally all I remember….
5. Senlin Ascends (The Books of Babel #1) by Josiah Bancroft

This is another book where I don’t remember how it got on my radar… This is a high fantasy about books. Which still intrigues me even though I know nothing else about it.
6. Tattered (Lark Cove #1) by Devney Perry

Devney Perry is really well loved author in the romance community which is probably how this ended up on my TBR. I’m still really interested in reading something by her and this has great ratings. But I don’t know anything about the plot anymore…
7. The Missing Years by Lexie Elliot

I remember highly anticipating this release when it first came out. But since then it’s kinda fallen to the back burner and I completely forgot about it. This has a creepy manor setting which I absolutely love and definitely need to read more of.
8. It’s a Whole Spiel by Katherine Locke

This is a pretty random one but I really wanted to read this anthology went it first released and I completely forgot to ever pick it up! My husband is Jewish so I’m always on the lookout for books about Jewish culture and this is an entire YA anthology written by Jewish authors.
9. Revelry by Kandi Steiner

Kandi Steiner is one of my favorite romance authors and keep forgetting I have backlist titles of hers to read! I know still need read her debut, A Love Letter to Whiskey, but I keep forgetting about this one. Definitely need to binge the remainder of her backlist asap.
10. The Nordic Royals series by Karina Halle

Riley Marie first brought this author to my attention and I keep meaning to read more by her. I’ve heard great things about this series but I keep forgetting about it when I make romance TBRs.
What are some books on your TBR you’ve forgotten about??
♥♥♥♥
The whole Six Stories series is honestly so good! I’d definitely recommend it! 😊
