The Concept
I totally got this idea from Ariel Bissett! So if you haven’t seen her video, definitely go check it out.
This is a 3 card spread and you can play along one of two ways:
- Chose one of the 3 cards that speaks to you. Don’t over think it, just chose which ever one your gut is telling you to.
- View this as virtual weekly or 3 card spread! A 3 card spread can be read many ways but the most common interpretations are:
- Past, Present, Future
- Mind, Body, Spirit
- You, Me, Us
- Stop, Start, Continue
The Spread
Now is the time to pick a card! I’ll read the cards from Left to Right. So feel free to skip to the card you pick or read them all!

Card 1: The Past

The first card is THE STAR
Meaning
This card is all about Hope and Peace of Mind. It’s a reminder to connect to the part of yourself that feels whole and serene. You’ve come through the hard times with a renewed sense of self and the world. Remain positive, motivated, and inspired.
Recommendation
I’ve been desperate to recommend this book some more.

This is one of my new favorite books of all time. This is an adult contemporary that follows a woman who is in love with her best friend. She thinks they’re finally going to take that next step, but discovers that love definitely doesn’t go as you plan. It’s a story of heartbreak, and love, and finding your place in the world. This book is so beautifully written and something I think everyone will be able to relate to.

Card 2: The Present

The second card is THE WORLD
Meaning
This is actually the final card in the deck. The World card signifies wholeness, contentment, and harmony. It signifies the end of a cycle or the pause before the next big beginning. This card indicates a big change is ahead. It’s the conclusion of one story and possibility for a new one.
Recommendation
For this one I’m recommending
Reborn Yesterday by Tessa Bailey

‘The end of a cycle or the pause before the next big beginning’ is honestly the most perfect way to sum up this book. This is an adult Paranormal Romance written by one of my favorite authors! In here you follow a powerful vampire who is trying to protect a woman who runs a funeral home and believes her life is in danger. I love this book (and series). If you’re on the hunt for your next favorite vampire romance, this is it!

Card 3: The Future

The final card is THREE OF WANDS
The Meaning
This card is all about envisioning the future! Support from your family and friends has instilled a sense of self, values, and morals. But it’s time to rely on yourself for guidance. This card is about future planning, freedom, adventure, travel, and growth. Have self-confidence, spread your wings, and experience life!
Recommendation
Okay so this is a pretty dark take on this card… But I really looking for an opportunity to recommend this and it weirdly fits
The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson

This is an adult fantasy novel that I absolutely fell in love with. It follows a young woman, Immanuelle, as she tries to save her village from 3 evil witches who have cursed them with plagues. You follow Immanuelle as she tries to take what has been taught to her and determine what is right. It’s a eerie, dark, witchy fantasy I can’t recommend enough.
