Breath of the Wildathon TBR

I’m so excited for this readathon!!

The Details

This runs from May 17 – 23 and is hosted by Caz from Little Book Owl and Red from Little Red Reader.

There are 5 challenges – 2 of which are community challenges- and 2 additional optional challenges.

There will be a month long version coming up later this year!

Check out their Twitter or Website for any additional information or links!!

The Challenges

I’m choosing books for all of the “required” challenges as well as the 2 optional ones. I don’t know if 5 books will actually happen, but I like having options.

1. Shrine of Resurrection, Camera Trial:Sshare your readathon tbr (to be read) list

One challenge already done! Go me!

2. Ja Baij Shrine, Bomb Trial: read an action-packed book that is set in a land far away

Neon Gods (Dark Olympus #1) by Katee Robert

This takes place (at least partially) in the underworld, so I’m counting that as a “land far away”. And knowing Katee Robert’s other books, this is bound to be fast paced & action packed.

Also – this is in my top 5 most anticipated releases of the entire year.

3. Oman Au Shrine, Magnesis Trial: read a book you’re drawn to

Today, Tomorrow, and Always (Phenomenal Fate #3) by Tessa Bailey

I’ve been itching to pick this one up since I got it! But I’ve been holding onto it specifically for this readathon. So this will probably be the first thing I read next week.

4. Keh Namut Shrine, Cryonis Trial: Read a book with winter vibes

An Unexpected Peril (Veronica Speedwell #6) by Deanna Raybourn

It took me awhile to find a book to fit this prompt but I finally found one that I’m really excited about! I had this on my TBR back in like February, but it never ended up happening. Now is the perfect time!

5. Owa Daim Shrine, Stasis Trial: Participate in a reading sprint

I definitely plan to participate in all the sprints that I can next week!

6. Forest of Spirits (optional): Read a book with mythical/supernatural elements

Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson #2) by Patricia Briggs

I’m participating in a year long buddy read of this entire universe and this is the next book we’re on. We’re reading them in timeline order so it’s been a minute since we’ve been back with Mercy so I’m excited to pick this one up!

7. Temple of Time (optional): Read a book pertaining to the passage of time

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

This one is still kinda up in the air. But this releases super soon so I need to get to it asap. Thanks to Libro.fm I have an audio copy so I’m thinking this would be a good audiobook to listen to throughout this week.

Are you participating in the readathon? Let me know what you’re reading in the comments below!
