Smutathon TBR

It’s Blogmas day 9 and the start of readathon no. 2!

I’m so excited to be participating in the 2nd round of the Smutathon hosted by Riley from Riley Marie and Lainey from Ginger Reads Lainey. This round is taking place from December 10th – 16th.

There are 7 challenges and I’m hoping to read 7 books this week. Which is a lot for me, but smutty, romance books are usually really quick reads, so I have high hopes.

Almost all of these I got free through Kindle Unlimited so if you’re looking for books to add to your TBR definitely check these out!

1. Enemies to Lovers

I’m going to keep the holiday spirit alive and choose one Christmas-y book for this readathon. So I’m choosing The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score for this. I’m not completely certain this is an enemies to lovers story, but the synopsis makes it seem that way so I’m going with it.

2. Friends with Benefits

For this challenge I’m hoping to read Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. I read my first Colleen Hoover book earlier this year and it broke me. So I’m fully expecting my heart to be broken all over again.

3. Fake Relationship

I have to choices for this challenge. My first is Fake Out (Fake Boyfriend #1) by Eden Finley. Fake is right in the title so it seemed like perfect choice. Plus I’m always down for a good mm romance! My other option for this one is The Deal by Elle Kennedy. I’ve heard such good things about Elle Kennedy so I really want to check out one of her books asap.

4. Slow Burn

All the reviews on Goodreads say this the slowest of slow burn romances. So I’m planning to read The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata.

5. Forbidden

I’m going with Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas for this. From what I’ve gathered, Penelope Douglas is the queen of taboo romance. In this one the main character becomes involved with her boyfriends father.

6. Different Worlds

This one is a bit of a stretch, but I’m choosing Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas. The 2 main characters are pen pals for years, which I’m stretching to “different worlds”.

7. One Night Stand

For this I’d really like to read The Score by Elle Kennedy. However this is the 3rd in the series which means I’d have to squeeze in the 2nd book somehow. So we’ll see.

Personally I voted for the Office Romance for the final challenge. So if I can’t get to The Score I’m going to instead pick up Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. This is an office romance with with the main character’s boss (my favorite).

That’s my TBR! Are you planning to participate? What is on your TBR??
