Favorite Christmas Movies

Happy Blogmas day 12!

It’s the time of year to cuddle up on the couch and binge watch some festive movies. Here are some of my favorites that I make sure to watch every year!

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas

This movie is the epitome of my childhood Christmas. Every time I watch it I’m transported back to being 8 years old. I just love the music and the old animation. I watch this every year on Christmas day.

2. White Christmas

This is such classic Christmas. There’s singing, dancing, and snow. My favorite scene is when Bob Wallace and Phil Davis perform the sister act. And that final number is beyond heartwarming.

3. Holiday Inn

Like White Christmas, this is a wonderful holiday classic. I love the dancing and music in this. And the final number is so dang festive!

4. The Muppet Christmas Carol

This is probably favorite rendition of this classic. It just makes my childhood heart so happy.

5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Animated Version)

I can appreciate the remakes of this but this original animated version is my favorite. It’s so whimsical and sweet.

6. Home Alone/Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

I couldn’t include one of these without the other so I’m combining them. I love both of these movies so much!

7. While You Were Sleeping

I watch this movie every year around Thanksgiving to kick off the holidays. This movie is so 90’s and wonderful. If you haven’t seen definitely check it out.

8. The Holiday

This is a Christmas rom-com and it’s precious. This is such a feel-good movie and it always makes me want to do a house swap!

9. Eloise at Christmastime

This movie is so fun! And I can’t help but love anything that Julie Andrews is in.

10. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

This is my favorite of the claymation classics. The bumble is just so stinkin’ cute.

There are SO many other holiday movies I love! But I didn’t want this list to get out of control. What’s your favorite holiday movie?
