Two of my favorite Booktubers are hosting a readathon!!

The Buzzword readathon was created by Kayla from Books and Lala. And this round she brought on Chelsea from Chelsea Dolling Reads as a cohost. ❤️❤️

This round has 6 buzzwords: Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why.

I’ve chosen 4 books off my TBR that each have a different buzzword. I also tried to mix up the format so I have 1 physical book I own, 1 physical library copy, 1 audiobook, and 1 e-book.

1. When the Sky Fell on Splendor by Emily Henry

This is the book I’m most excited to read!! And it is also the group read for the readathon. The synopsis of this give me Stranger Things vibes and I’m pumped about it. A group of teens is obsessed with investigating ghost stories and legends. Then one day a mysterious object comes crashing into their town and everything changes. I picked this up as a Book of the Month pick for March!

2. What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler

This is a book that’s been on my TBR forever. This is YA mystery I know very little about. The synopsis on Goodreads is extremely vague (which is usually good for mysteries). But this amazing reviews and reviewers I trust have said this book is hard-hitting and important. So this seems like the perfect time to finally pick this up! I have this on loan from my local library.

3. This is How it Always Is by Laurie Frankel

The Goodreads rating for this is ridiculous compared to amount of ratings. And again, some reviewers I really trust have praised this book. This is currently available through Hoopla so I plan to listen to the audiobook for this throughout the week. This is about a young boy who wants to be a girl and how his family copes. I’m ready to feel things.

4. Where I Belong (Alabama Summer #1) by J. Daniels

I’m still riding the romance train so I had to find one that fit into the readathon. This is a new to me series but romance reviewers I follow have said really good things about this author! This is an enemies to lovers romance – which I am always down for. I have this ebook on my Kindle, so I can read during cardio days at the gym!
