Happy April ♥
So this month I’m participating in the OWLs Magical Readathon! I posted my 8 book TBR for that readathon last week. This TBR is the extra books for my yearly challenges, ARCs, etc that I would like to read in addition to that list.
1. The Vanished Bride (Bronte Sisters Mystery #1) by Bella Ellis
This is going to fulfill my Out of My Comfort Zone challenge. I had randomly picked this up from the library and since they’re closed, I have this out until May. So I figured now is the time to read it! This is a historical mystery about the Bronte sisters. I’m not a reader of classics or historical fiction so this is definitely a little outside my standard reading bubble.
2. An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen
I chose this for my BOTM read this month. I have this both physically and on audio so we’ll see how I end up reading this. This seems to a pretty polarizing book but it seems like you either enjoy this one or The Wife Between Us. Since I really didn’t like The Wife Between Us, I’m hoping I end up loving this one!
3. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
This was a March release that I picked out of my newly updated Out of my Comfort Zone TBR jar. I’m really excited to give this a shot! It seems like it’s going to be a whimsical adult fantasy, which is not something I normally pick up. But I’ve heard really good things about this author so I’m really hoping I love this!
4. Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust
This ARC is on my Spring TBR and is being released on May 12th. I’m completely obsessed with this cover and synopsis! I just really want to read this asap because I have such a good feeling about it.
5. A Dangerous Collaboration (Veronica Speedwell #4) by Deanna Raybourn
I have to continue on with this series this month because I need all the Veronica and Stoker in my life right now. And this will (obviously) cover my series continuation challenge!
6. Wolfsong (Green Creek #1) by T.J. Klune
I impulse purchased this last month (along with 34 other books because I have zero chill). I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about this series and was really excited when I drew if from my (newly updated) Physical TBR Jar. This is a M/M, werewolf romance I believe. I’m here for it.
7. The Right Swipe (Modern Love #1) by Alisha Rai
This book has been on a solid dozen TBRs… but I pulled it for my Physical TBR Challenge and I’m determined to finally make it happen. I’ve heard great things about this book so I don’t know why I’m dragging my feet. But it’s going to happen in April!
8. The Secret History by Donna Tartt
This was a last minute (and super intimidating) addition to my April TBR. This is one of those books that has been sitting on my TBR forever and I never knew if I would ever actually pick. BUT. I’m reading Eight Perfect Murders by Peter Swanson for my OWLs and apparently that book spoils this one. Soo… now I need to read this before I pick that one up.
Okay so I’m talking a really big game right now. Between this and my OWLs readathon I’m sitting around 6300 pages… which is absolutely insane and not at all likely to happen lol. But I’m going to try!
What are you hoping to read this month?? Share you TBR in the comments!

I hope you end up loving all of these!
