Top Ten Tuesday: ARCs I’m Planning to Read!

Happy Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

Today’s T10T is a little different! On Sunday I learned about the NetgalleyReadathon from Cornia at The Brown Eyed Bookworm so I obviously had to jump on that bandwagon!

This is hosted by Anniek’s Library and The Library Looter!

There are some challenges, but I just chose some of the books I’m most excited about (or are super late (there are a lot of those 😅)).

Oh also, just a note – some of these came from Edelweiss+ as well as Netgalley.

1. The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa

This was released back in early February. I was so excited about this enemies to lovers romance but it’s received some less than stellar reviews. But this is available on Hoopla so this will be my first audiobook of the week!

2. All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban

This was another book I was super excited about! This released on March 17th and I was a little behind on ARCs so I was planning to pick up a physical copy and read that. But the release date was the first day of my self quarantine so that plan fell through… This is also available on Hoopla so this will be another audiobook if I have time!

3. If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane

This is also my next Romanceopoly pick so I’ll definitely being reading this one right away. This is also available on Hoopla so I’m thinking I’ll listen to this on audio. This just came out on March 24th so I’m not too late with this one 😅

4. You Two Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle

I just got a physical copy of this in a Baecrate box! I’ve been waiting to pick this up since I purchased the box and I’m so excited to finally read it! This came out on April 7th and it’s a hate love rom-com that I’ve heard is really funny. This will most likely be the first thing I pick up physically!

5. A Murderous Relation (Veronica Speedwell #5) by Deanna Raybourn

I actually just downloaded this last week after finishing A Dangerous Collaboration. I own this series in paperback but this just released on March 10th so the paperback won’t release until next year… and I can’t wait that long! I’m really excited to continue on with this series.

6. Strange Exit by Parker Peevyhouse

Okay this one is super late… It released back on January 14th but I’ve had my copy since September of last year 😅 This is a YA, science fiction about a young woman who discovers she’s stuck in an alternate reality. This was an impulse request so I’ve been really nervous about starting this. It’s time though!

7. Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson

The contemporary romance releases on May 19th (I’m can’t believe I’m actually going to read an arc on time again!) This sounds like a really fun rom-com about a group of brothers who try to keep their adoptive mother’s knitting shop open.

8. The Guest List by Lucy Foley

This technically doesn’t come out until June 2nd but it was an April Book of the Month pick so I already have a physical copy. I loved this author’s previous book so I high hopes for this one. Plus I’ve heard amazing early reviews. If I don’t get to this one this week, it’ll definitely be appearing on my May TBR!

9. The Trouble With Hating You by Sajni Patel

I don’t know if I’ll get to this one but I’ve been in the mood for all the rom-com’s lately. This is another hate to love romance that I’m really excited about. It comes out soon on May 12th!

10. Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier

If I decided I’m in the mood for a thriller, I’m going to pick this one up! This released to today though so I should definitely make an effort to pick this one up this week.

  1. OMG we have so many of the same books on our NetGalley shelf, I should be reading these here too:
    Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier
Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson
You Two Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle
If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane

    Btw – good luck 😀

  2. I NEED a NetGalley readathon! I will pop over and have a look at that.

I LOVED The Guest list by Lucy Foley and I really like Mhairi McFarlane even though I haven’t read that one yet.

    Happy reading!
And you have a lovely blog 🙂
