Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Bookish Families

This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day so I thought it was the perfect time to talk about some amazing book families!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

1. Becker Brothers series by Kandi Steiner

I love the Becker family! She was actually the inspiration for this post when I was listening to Manhattan back in April. This series really focuses on the family dynamics and has a mystery plot where the brothers are trying to discover the truth about their father’s death. Their mother is the absolute sweetest and the scenes where the boys dance with her at their weekly dinners warms my cold heart every time.

2. Boys of Jackson Harbor by Lexi Ryan

This is another super close-knit family that I adore. The Jackson family lives in Michigan and they run a bar & brewery. This family has a lot more drama than the others but I still wish I could be apart of this crew.

3. Cloverleigh Farms by Melanie Harlow

First of all this series has the most stunning covers and I can’t wait to own them all physically. But this is another Michigan based family that owns a winery and wedding venue. There are 5 Sawyer sisters and their family is so close and supportive.

4. Slice Series by Teagan Hunter

This series surrounds the Daniels family who own a pizzeria in a small east coast tourist town. Their father is absolutely hilarious and I love how welcoming and wonderful he is. This family is always taking in new members and I’m always here for a good “found family” story.

5. The Ravenels by Lisa Kleypas

This is the only one on this list that doesn’t actually include any parental family members. This series surrounds the remaining members of the Ravenel family and their romances. The Ravenels is quirky and nontraditional and I love them all.

6. Tweet Cute by Emma Lord

I particularly loved Jack’s family in here! This is a really sweet and fun YA contemporary romance about 2 teens who are running their family business’s Twitter accounts. Jack’s family runs a small local sandwich shop and his parents were the absolutely cutest.

7. Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

RedWhiteRoyalBlue

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve forced this book on anyone 😅 I flipping love the Claremont-Diaz family and their mother is hands down one of my favorite bookish mothers of all time. Pleeeeease read this if you haven’t yet!

8. House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J. Maas

HouseOfEarthAndBlood

This one might be a little random but I loved Bryce’s mom and step father! Their relationship was so damn cute. Her video chats with them had me cracking up every single time.

9. Wild by K.A. Tucker

I’ve only read the first book in this series so I can’t speak for book 2. But I loved the family aspects of The Simple Wild. Not only was Calla’s mother and step father’s relationship wonderful, but I loved getting to know her birth father along with her.

10. Him by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

I did a similar post to this last year and I think this is the only repeat from that list. I loved Jamie’s family and how they so openly accepted Wes into their lives. While his family doesn’t have a huge role in the series, they definitely had an impactful one.

Who are some of your favorite bookish families??

  1. Such a great post! The Weasleys will probably always be my favorite bookish family, but Lara Jean’s family in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is another great one. ❤
