1. On the Rocks (Becker Brothers #1) by Kandi Steiner ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Is it even a list of mine if I don’t include a Kandi Steiner book?? This cover alone gives all the summer vibes! This is an amazing small town romance set during a southern summer.

2. Beach Read by Emily Henry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

No summer book list is complete without this book. This is an absolutely amazing romance between two rival authors. It’s the perfect mix of laugh out loud funny and hard-hitting, emotional moments.

3. The Tourist Attraction (Moose Springs, Alaska #1) by Sarah Morgenthaler ⭐⭐⭐ .5

This cover might look a little snowy, but this book takes place in the Alaskan wilderness in the middle of summer. It’s a super fun, lighthearted romance between a grumpy diner owner and an adventurous tourist.

4. On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This entire book takes place on a remote, deserted island. So it’s full of warm, beach vibes!

5. A Pizza My Heart (Slice #1) by Teagan Hunter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Teagan Hunter writes my favorite rom-coms!! This one is a friends to lovers romance that takes place at a pizza place in a small tourist town on the East Coast. Lots of coastal summer vibes!

6. Well Met (Well Met #1) by Jen Deluca ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a really fun contemporary that takes place during a summer renaissance faire. It’s a light enemies to lovers romance between the man who runs the renn faire and a woman in town to help her sister and niece. This book is just so much fun!

7. Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker ⭐⭐⭐.5

This second chance contemporary romance is told in a dual timeline where the past chapters take place at a summer camp. This cover is gorgeous and has all the summer vibes.

8. Coldhearted Boss by R.S. Grey ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My favorite R.S. Grey book! This book is essentially an adult summer camp story! It’s another enemies to lovers romance that follows a construction crew that lives on site during the week in cabins. Another really fun rom-com!

9. Him (Him #1) by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

This is another summer camp setting! The main characters of this are hockey players that return their childhood hockey camp to coach for the summer. It’s a really amazing M/M romance duet! Highly recommend!

10. The Mighty Heart of Sunny St. James by Ashley Herring Blake ⭐⭐⭐.5

I know all of the other books on this list are summer-y romances so I’m mixing things up with a middle grade contemporary! This is a super sweet coming of age story that takes place on a beach. It has a new friendship, surfing, beach days, and amazing mother-daughter relationships and commentary.
