Another readathon TBR because I have no self control…

Okay I know back in my August TBR that I wasn’t going to participate in any readathons this month. And now I’m somehow participating in 4… but like, who’s surprised?

This readathon is hosted by Ali from Hardback Hoarder, Amanda from Read All the Books, and Vanessa from Paper Faerie. It’s running from August 16-23 and this year they have a website as well as a Twitter page!

It’s a choose your own adventure style readathon so you can pick the path that fits your reading the best!

I won’t lie, I’ve changed this TBR like 8 times 😅 So we’ll see how well I end up sticking with these choices. But for now – here’s what I’m planning to read!

1. Captain’s Cabin: Most Popular Author on TBR – From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Since this overlaps with Tome Topple I wanted to overlap at least 1 book. I’ve been on a JLA binge the last couple of months and I’ve heard nothing but absolutely amazing things about this book. It’s a chunker but I’m really excited to start it!

7. Precious Cargo: Middle Grade – Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga

This is the August read for the Currently Reading Book Club so I needed to fit this into my TBR before the live show! I had never heard of this book before it was announced as the August pick, so I know literally nothing about the plot! I’m excited to go into a book with no expectations.

A. Washed Ashore: Book Published 3+ Years Ago – Archangel’s Storm by Nalini Singh

This month’s reading is all about fantasy romance. So I definitely wanted to continue on with the Guild Hunter series! I believe this book follows Galen… maybe? Nope! This book follows Jason who is an angel and one of Raphael’s Seven. I’m really looking forward to another book following one of the Seven. Their backstories are so interesting!

9. Black Sails: Has a Black Cover – Sentinel (Covenant #5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Oh look, another fantasy romance! I just… I can’t stop. This series is so addicting. This is the final book in the Covenant series and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself once it’s over….

That’s it! Let me know in the comments if you’re planning to participate and what you hope to read!
