It’s almost the end of the year! (thank goodness…..)

I’m a little late to the game with this tag but we’re making it work!

1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Both of these books have been on my currently reading shelf that have been there for a long hot minute…

I picked up House With the Chicken Legs for a book club and got about half way through. But this book was so much sadder than I had anticipated and I just wasn’t enjoying myself. So I haven’t returned to it yet..

I have The Black Kids on audio and I was actually really enjoying it! But I had to put it aside around the half way point and now it’s been months since I’ve listened to it and I don’t remember anything…

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I think my October TBR was really my “autumnal transition” month. But I Kingdom of Flesh and Fire has leaves on it… so does that count? 😅

3.  Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

4. What are 3 books you want to read before the end of the year?

So many books, so little time! These are 3 books (besides the ones I already mentioned above) that I really want to get to before the year is up.

5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Honestly I have no idea. I’ve had more 5 star reads than ever before this year. And a couple of them have been huge surprises. But I have Alix E. Harrow’s debut 5 stars so I think her sophomore novel has a chance to make that list too!

6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

Of course!! I’ve been making 2021 reading plans since like July 😅 I’m a planner at heart so I’m always thinking about what is coming next.
