Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️
I thought it would be fun to create a book tag based on popular conversation heart sayings! This is what I came up with ❤️
Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter
I’ve actually done an entire recommendation post for epistolary books! But my go to recommendation is always this hilarious and sexy rom-com. This book follows a couple who meet due to a wrong number phone call. They continue to talk back and forth as they slowly grow feeling for each other.
Grace And Glory by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I could have chosen a LOT of different books for this! But right now this is the one I’m craving the most. I just really want to know what happens next!! I’m still not over the cliffhanger from Rage & Ruin….
Jennifer L. Armentrout
Y’all… I’m sorry I keep screaming about JLA in every post 😅 I promise I will eventually talk about a different author. But I’m just so obsessed… I can’t stop. Okay I’m not that sorry 😅
Raffin from Graceling by Kristin Cashore
I loved ALL of the characters in the YA fantasy. But Raffin was such an amazing cinnamon roll. I don’t know anything about the rest of this series. But I’m already hoping we get more of him!
In the Garden of Spite by Camilla Bruce
A lot of romances are written in dual POV so I had a lot of books to choose from. But I really loved how the dual POV was done in this book so I had to go with this. I just did a full review if you want to hear all my thoughts!
A Court of Thorns and Rose by Sarah J. Maas
This is such a cop-out answer 😅 But it’s the first that always comes to mind. I love this series but this book is by far the weakest. The trails under the mountain are great but way too much time is spent wandering the Spring Court.
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh
I know fated mates aren’t everyones thing. But I’m into it. And no one does it like Nalini Singh.
Fable by Adrienne Young
This world is hella dangerous. And I get quite motion sick on boats. But I totally want to be a part of this pirate crew.
You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle
This is always my answer when someone asks for a funny book. Because it’s the funniest book I’ve ever read. Seriously, read it. Your abs will appreciate the workout.
Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand
Okay this is such a niche question and I totally understand when everyone skips it 😅 But I LOVE good dedication or author’s note. They bring that extra little bit to a book and I appreciate when an author puts time and love into them. Sawkill Girls is my favorite dedication to date:
“to all the girls who have my back —
the queens and the witches
the poets and the mothers —
to the girls who raise their voices
and
to the girls who light the way”
The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Pennner
I’ve read a lot of historical fiction lately so I had a lot to choose from! But I couldn’t resist the opportunity to rave about this March release! It’s set in late 1700’s London and follows a woman who runs an apothecary dedicated to helping women ride themselves of the abusive men in their lives. It’s so good!
Dear Emmie Blue by Lia Louis
This is another book I haven’t stopped raving about since I read it. It’s a beautiful adult contemporary novel that explores love, friendship, and family. If there’s one book you check out from this list, make it this one!
If you want to do this festive Valentine’s tag – consider yourself officially tagged! Make sure to tag me in your post so I can see all your amazing answers! And feel free to use any graphics from this!

LOL at “Fax Me” being the Historical Fiction category!

This is the cutest tag ever!! I need to give more of JLA’s books a try, I read (and adored) From Blood & Ash but haven’t read anything else by her yet! Also laughed out loud at You Deserve Each Other, I hope Sarah’s next book is just as hilarious! 😅
