Recently Finished

1. The Final Girls by Riley Sager ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first read for the Favorite Author Readathon with my book club. And it was SO good! Seriously this was such a wild ride and it’s definitely at the top of my list of favorite thrillers. This made me so excited to read the rest of Riley Sager’s books! I posted my full review and thoughts on Saturday so check that out here!

2. The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen ⭐️⭐️.5

This audiobook took me over an entire month to finish… This started out so strong, and that twist at the half way point took me by complete surprise. But the rest of the book was so boring… I can’t actually understand why this is even categorized as a thriller.. nothing thrilling or suspenseful ever happens. Overall this was flop. But I enjoyed the writing so I’m hoping to like this author duo’s other books more!

3. Falling From Gravity by K.K. Allen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a prequel novella for Defying Gravity and it’s free on Amazon right now if you want to check it out before the full book is released! This is just a short introduction the characters and their backstory. I have such a hard time rating novellas because they are so short. But overall this was a solid (and steamy!) intro.

Currently Reading

1. My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing

I’m reading this for the We B Book’N book club! This is one of the buddy reads we’re doing this month. I had to set it to the side for the readathon last week but I’m so excited to dive back in!

2. Defying Gravity by K.K. Allen

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this from Social Butterfly PR! I’m reading this right now so far I’m really enjoying this! It’s a best friend’s brother, basketball romance. This is being released on Thursday July 25th.
