5 Favorite Books of Fall

My favorite season is almost over… but I read a bunch of amazing books! These are 5 of my favorite ♥

1. Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SawkillGirls

This is one of my favorite books of the year! It’s a YA fantasy/horror about a group of girls facing a demon that is kidnapping and killing teenage girls. It’s super dark and gritty and I got completely swept into this world.

2. I Knead You Tonight (Slice #2) by Teagan Hunter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

TeaganHunter_IKneadYouTonight_LOW

Teagan Hunter’s books always make my favorites lists! This is book 2 in the Slice series and it’s a steamy, enemies to lovers rom-com. I can’t rave about this series or author enough – definitely check out my  review for all my gushing thoughts.

3. Landon & Shay Part 1 by Brittainy C. Cherry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

LandonAndShay

This is another author I always adore. Brittainy C Cherry writes really heart-wrenching romances that always leave me in tears. This is the first half of a new duet (that’s full released and available on KU now!) and follows the 2 MCs when they were in high school. This covers some pretty heavy topics – depression, suicide, drug addiction, absentee parents, etc. I’m planning to write my full review once I’ve finished Part 2 of the duet!

4. Miracle of 5th Avenue by Sarah Morgan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MiracleOn5thAve

This book was a total surprise! I picked this up on a total whim from Barnes & Noble because I’ve heard great things about this author. This was an enemies to lovers romance between a grieving author and kind hearted event coordinator. While this takes place around the holiday, it’s not overly festive so it’s definitely a book you could read all winter long!

5. House of Salt and Sorrow by Erin A. Craig ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

HouseOfSaltSorrows

This was another big surprise! This premise really intrigued me but I wasn’t expecting to fall in love the way I did. This is a YA retelling of the 12 Dancing Princesses. This book is dark and haunting. It has a bit of a slow start, but once this story took off it was completely addictive. The last 100 pages of this absolutely blew. me. away.

What were some of your favorite books of fall??
