Here are some books that should be on your beach read lists!

I tired really hard to not overlap too much from my Summer Vibes post I did a couple weeks ago. But I couldn’t help but recommend a few of these just one more time 😅

Here are some book recommendations that I think will be perfect additions to your summer reading list!

1. Beach Read by Emily Henry

Okay I know this has appeared on like 900 of my recommendations/posts recently but I’m not sorry 😅 Read this book! The whole thing takes place during the summer at a beach house so it’s the perfect time.

2. Revelry by Kandi Steiner

Is it even a list of mine if Kandi Steiner isn’t featured? 😅 This is an adult contemporary romance that follows a woman who rents a cabin for the summer to try and reconnect with herself after difficult divorce. This book is beautifully written, heart wrenching, and full of love and found family.

3. You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle

This book screams beach read to me because it’s just so dang funny! This is an enemies to lovers romance that will have you laughing out loud the whole way through.

4. Well Met (Well Met #1) by Jen Deluca

This is another book I just couldn’t possibly leave off this list! This is another adult, enemies to lovers rom-com that follows a small town’s summer renaissance faire. It’s full of all the summer vibes, witty banter, and a swoon worthy romance. The sequel releases later this year, so now is the perfect time to pick this up!

5. The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James

To mix things up a bit – here’s a perfect summer thriller! This follows two woman working at the creepy Sun Down Motel, 35 years apart. This books is suspenseful, creepy, and compulsively readable! It’s the perfect page turner for the beach!

6. The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay

This is another thriller perfect for those long summer nights – because trust me, you won’t want to read this in the dark! This book follows a family who is vacationing at a remote cabin when they are approached and held captive by a group of strangers. They are told one of them must die in order to save the world. This book is intense and will leaving your reeling long after you finish it!

7. Fix Her Up (Hot & Hammered #1) by Tessa Bailey

This books is just such a good time! It’s another adult romance full of humor and loads of steamy scenes! If you want a really fun, light, sexy read this is for you.

8. Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan

This book doesn’t necessarily scream summer, but this is a new release that I think should be on everyone’s TBRs! This is an indie published, second chance romance that covers so many relevant and timely topics. Not only is this book super powerful, but the romance is to die for.

10. Tweet Cute by Emma Lord

Lastly, a YA contemporary! This book is just super fun and gives me all the happy summer feelings. It’s a book you can definitely fly through while enjoying some time outside. It follows two teens who start a Twitter war between their rival family restaurants.
