Books on My Radar – Vol. 4

Time for some more future releases I’m excited for!

I’ve done 3 other posts of books I have on my radar! Definitely check those out for other exciting upcoming releases.

Like I said in the other posts, I prepare blog posts pretty far in advance, so while I try and make updates, it’s completely possible that some of this information may be out of date. Definitely check out the linked Goodreads pages for all the latest information if you’re interested in these!

Here are 5 more future releases to watch out for!

1. Bones of Ruin by Sarah Raughley

Release Date: 2021

This one doesn’t have a cover or synopsis yet but the pitch is everything I love and want –

“Set in Victorian England, the book follows Iris, an African tightrope walker with a secret: she cannot die. But when Iris gets involved with a mysterious society that’s convinced the world is ending, she’s drafted in the fight-to-the-death Tournament of Freaks where she learns the terrible truth of who and what she really is.”

2. House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland

Release Date: April 6, 2021

This is a YA fantasy with a dark, modern fairytale feel. It follows three sister who mysteriously disappeared and returned one month later, changed. Now 10 years later, one of the sisters is missing again. Leaving the other 2 face the supernatural in order to discover what happened.

3. The Forest of Stolen Girls by June Her

Release Date: April 20, 2021

This is another YA, mystery about sisters who go missing. (Apparently I have a type 😅). The two young girls remember nothing about their capture other than their painted white mask. Years later, the girls’ father goes missing while investigating another string of disappearances. The girls set out to save their father, and solve the case that has torn their family apart.

4. Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar

Release Date: May 25, 2021

This is a YA contemporary from the author of The Henna Wars. It follows a popular teen who comes out as bisexual but is invalidated by her friends. So she fake dates the class over-achiever.

5. Unchosen by Katharyn Blair

Release Date: January 26, 2021

Possibly my favorite 2021 cover I’ve seen so far! It’s a –

fiercely feminist fantasy with a horrifying curse, swoon-worthy sea captains, and the power of one girl to choose her own fate

Let me know if any of these are on your radar as well!
