1. The Last Book I Gave Up On
I’m still sad about this DNF ☹️ I really wanted to love this but I didn’t like the writing style (so much slang) and this was heavy on the travel which is my least favorite fantasy plot.
2. Last Book I Re-read
Apparently I only reread Ready Player One and Sarah J. Maas 😅 I’m about to dive into a reread of Throne of Glass but right now this is the last thing I reread. And it’s still one of my favorite books ever.
3. Last Book I Bought
I had a pretty substantial Barnes and Noble haul last week but this is one of the books I picked up! It was out a few days early at my location which was exciting!
4. Last Book I Said I Read But Actually Didn’t
Literally all of my college text books? 😅
5. Last Book I Wrote in the Margins Of
I tend to write in and highlight nonfiction. And this book is FULL of highlights and notes. Any fiction books I annotate are done on tabs so I can take them out if need be.
6. Last Book That I Had Signed
I’ve never gotten a book signed personally (like met an author or that). But this is the most recent signed copy I received. I ordered the STUNNING Waterstones signed edition and I’m obsessed.
7. The Last Book I Lost
Considering I rarely lend my books out nor leave the house anymore this was hard to find an answer for 😅 Technically this isn’t lost. But with the pandemic I haven’t been able to get my copy back from the one friend I share books with.
8. The Last Book I Had to Replace
This is a my answer for another prompt for the exact same reason. I kept trying to buy a copy of this new cover but kept being sent the old cover 🙄. So I had to keep replacing it… But I finally got my hands on the right edition!
9. The Last Book I Argued Over
Other than in high school courses, I don’t think I’ve ever argued over a book. Other people’s bookish opinions just don’t bother me like that…. People tell me all the time that I’m wrong for not liking this series though so I’ll go with that 😅
10. The Last Book You Couldn’t Find
It took me forever to get my hands on this new edition of the Graceling! I found all the other books in the series but this one was sold out everywhere. I even ended up with 2 editions of the old cover from attempting to buy it online. Sigh…
