Top Three
- This was a WILD construction week! We had to make some on the fly design changes Wednesday morning thanks to an asbestos vent blocking the way. For those that don’t know – it’s costs $150/hour for asbestos removal (in Wisconsin). So that was going run us nearly $4k to remove to get 7in of additional depth in our new bathroom. So we said screw and redesigned the layout to avoid the vent. Luckily it all worked out!
- It’s Bookoplathon weekend!! I took off work Thursday and Friday because I’ve been feeling the burnout and needed a vacation. But also to prepare for a full weekend of reading and potato-ing 😅 A full live readathon is such a wild concept but I’ve had the most amazing time.
- Since I had off on Thursday, I ended up spending the day doing my own home project – ripping out our living room carpet! I shared the whole process over on IG so definitely add me over there if you want to follow along with our crazy home renovation journey. But the hardwood looks amazing and once we get them refinished so you can’t see the staple holes any more they will be perfect!
How was your week?!
